Teacher Grace

Teacher Grace has always loved caring for and connecting with little ones since she was a young child herself. From an early age, she discovered the magic of reading — a passion that not only fuelled her imagination but also helped her thrive in English throughout school.

Holding a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with Sociology from Singapore University of Social Sciences, she had been a kindergarten teacher with PCF Sparkletots and also taught at various enrichment schools, including one for baking and another for STEAM education. Her interest in children’s picture books and literature has even led her to explore being a bookstore assistant in an independent children’s bookstore.

Her experience spans working with children from preschool through the primary years. She believes in living life with a sense of child-like wonder, no matter one’s age. A hope of hers is to foster such a spirit, through the use of creative and playful strategies, in her lessons. She enjoys collaborating with students, parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to understand and engage each young individual and nurture a joy for learning.

FUN FACT: Teacher Grace has chased (and caught!) the Northern Lights, as well as tried driving a dog sled in Norway. She embraces little adventures and new experiences.
